KHANDALLAH .CLUB'S REPORT. The annual report of the Khandallah Bowling Club, to be presented to the annual meeting, reads as follows:— "The directors regret to have to record the loss by death during the season of three members—Messrs. T. R. Ritchie, W;;Gollan, and A. O. Bishop, and appreciative references to tho.iservices rendered by these gentlemen are duly recorded in the club's■■ minutes. The thanks of the directors are due to Mr. G. Living for a- donation -for drainage of green and a gift of medals, and to all, ladies and members who have assisted during the season. ■ The Bourke Mugs and the medals not awarded lasfc year were competed for, and won by Messrs. J. A. Plimmer and G. Living. Now that the war is over a return to normal conditions any,be expected, and it is anticipated that a number of new members will- be seen on tho green this coming season. Considering our limited membership and the disadvantages under which we laboured during the past season ourfinances may lie considered to be in a satisfactory condition. As in previous years a rental of .£ls 155.-was received from the ladies for tho preparation and use' of the croquet lawn. The retiring'directors are Messrs. W. R. Plimmer. Lyall, and Cowles; tho two. former are not seeking re-election. The-balance-sheet for the year shows a perfect balance, after bad debts to the amount' of J;l2 lls.-.Cd., and depreciation on tools account (.£5 15s. 3d.) is allowed.' The income amounted io..£H3 13s. 9d. The excess of assets over liabilities is shown as M3O. JOHNSONVILLE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Johiisonville Club was held on Thursday. The report and ''balance-sheet were adopted ■ after members had voiced their satisfaction- at the manner in which the executive had provided . for -their interests during the past season. Satisfaction was expressed at tho winning of the AVellington Centre B Pennant. The follow, ing officers were elected :-President, Mr. .11. E. Harrap; vice-president, Mr. AV. L. Thompson; secretary, Mr.'F. T. ONeill; treasurer, Mr. F.- Jacobs j directors, Messrs. Turner, Cook, Morgan, Bould, and Rod; delegate to AVellington Centre, Mr. F. Jacobs; solo selector for matches, Mr. Norman Cook; green committee, Messrs. Styles and Thompson ;o refreshment committee, Messrs. Jacobs and. O'Neill; hon. auditor, Mr. V. A. Ml s. It was decided to enter teams for the, Hill Pins, Edwin Feathers, Junior Stars, and Pennants. Members wished the Rev. Mr. Pctrie, who has lieen appointed to a city parish, success in his new position, and regretted ■ that ho was severing his connection with the club, where he had been such a prominent and popular member and had done so much for tho welfare of the club. Mr. I'etrio thanked the members, tor their kind expressions and good wishes. Jlo was sorry to sever Ills' associations with the club whore he had so ninny games. -Ho congratulated tho club on the play of the members and at 'the winning of the B Pennant. He hoped to met members in future contests, although ho would be playing against them. Resolutions were passed thanking tho ladies for the great assistance accorded an connection with afternoon teas.
