Oatsheaf chajf,. which can only/ be carried oh the railway if urgently required, is firmer, and is now quoted at £6 ss. to £G 10s. at' country stations. Both rc<l and white' clover have showna further advance, and growers are now being paid up to Is. 6d. for red clover, and Is. 4d. for whito clover. Peas are in keen demand for export, Partridge now. being worth '75., Whito Ivories Bs., And Blue Imperial 95., at country stations. > There is also a strong demand for horse beans for export, and up to 7s. is being paid at country stations. This is a considerable advance ,on the- price offered in tho season, ,(nid some fairly large lines lately changed hands. There is a scarcity in offerings, of. potatoes, and tho price has further' firmed, buyers now offering £7 -at country stations.
