BRITISH COAL PRICES INCREASED

In tho House of Commons Sir Auckland Geddes announced, that the retail prico of coal would rise six shillings per ton next week/ The Coal Commission's recommendation of shorter hours and higher wages was the reason for this inorease. Sir Auckland Geddes warned the public that the outlook was serious for the manufacturing indus-tries—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
