Another volume will deal with the campaign in'Palestino, but it has not.yet been decided who is to write it. .The story of the fighting of the New Zealand Division in Franco will be iu another volume, to bo written by Colonel Stewart, who as a civilian was a professor at' Canterbury College. The fourth volume will contain a miscellane. ous collection of matter, dealing with tho raising and training of the force and the reinforcements in New Zealand, the hospitals in England, and all the work of the Command in the United Kingdom, tho finance of the war, and last of all New Zealand's part in the peace negotiations. There are to bo seventeen chapters in this last volume, every chapter dealing with a particular phase of the war activity and work of Now Zealand. The official history of tho war will bo another publication, but not for general reading. It will be for record with the Defence authorities, and with the Imperial authorities. As affecting tho fighting it will deal with strategy and tactics, and it will also detail tho ' measures taken by the Government to meet the exigencies of war, possibly with, account of tie success or failure of expedients tried.
