MOTOR FATALITY
♦—- — A SCHOOLBOY KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Aeioclation. Napier, July 10. A schoolboy named Thomas Isaac Hutchor, aged 6 years, was so severely "ijurcd as a result of an accident opposite the Hastings Street School shortly after noon to-day that he died just after being admitted to Napier Hospital, to wiiicn institution he was immediately conveved. Deceased was hanging on to tho rear of a motor lorry, aud suddenly ran out into the road right in front of a passing motor-car which was boing driven by Miss K. Speedy, of Waipawa. The lorry and car were proceeding in opposite directions, and the car was passing very near. The lad ran from behind the lorry just as the car passed, and could M>t stop in time to liiiss tiio car. He put his hand out on the mudguard of the car in an effort to stop, but (he car threw him to the ground in front of it. The car passed over one wrist. • death probably being caused from a fracture caused by the fall. An inquest will be held. ;
