« FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY, Present, indications arc for moderate and variable breezes, easterlies backing to uortlierlies, over the North. Island, and increasing in the far north and westerlies prevailing elsewhere. Weather fair generally, but misty conditions arc probable in the northern and southernmost districts. Barometer continue high, but with a 'falling tendency soon in the far north. The liigh pressure system still dominates, and now shows a central isobar of 30.6 inches off the West Coast.
