SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

Under the guidance of Miss M. Lewis, tlio members of the Sc. Marie's Girls' Club gave n delightful concert to the seafarers at The Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. The performers were: -Mrs. O'Sullivan, Misses M. Tavendale, G. Jones, G. Davidson, ami the Members of the club, and Mr. M'Grath. Miss M. Lewis wns at the piano. Mr. Moore, Missioner, occupied the chair, and gave an address 011 "Does lieer block llie way?" Tlio competition prizes came from Nelson and T.ainbton Quay, and were won by the "I'uahiua and 3iuiubil;a, after a keen contest.
