LONDON WOOL SALES
Tho Bank of New Zealand has received the- following cablegram from ite London office under date July 4:—Wool sales closed firm.- Current prices for wools of average condition:—Merinoß, AHA. to 45tf.; hallbrctts, 42d. to 4<3(1.; crosabreds, fine 3/d. to 41d., medium 25d. to 29d., coarse Bld. to 23d. Messrs.' Dalgety and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of a cablegram from their London office, under (late June 4, reading as follows:—"Wool sales closed firm: 134.267 bales were catalogued and well cleared. For export. France was allowed to. buy 20,000 bates, Belgium 15,000, Canada SOU, Italy "1000. As compared with last salo's closing Tiitcß, average and good combing mcrinoß were par to 5 per cent, dearer, faulty and ihort 5 per cent, dearer. Fine crossbrccls wore par to 5 per cent, dearer, medium crossbrede 5 per cent, lower, coarao crossjireds 7i per cent, to 10 per cent, lower. Sales resume July 14."
