SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

Mr. V. Si James was the host at Thursday's concert at tho Sailors' Friend Society. There was a very large muster of seafarers. Items were given by soloists and the members of an efficient band, and were enthusiastically encored, vine performers were Mrs. Watson and child, and Misses Heid aiA'James, and ■Messrs. W. J. Bobbins, c. Barker, P. Redahaw. V. S. James, Child, and Cannaoh (s'.s. Otira). Mrs. Watson was at the piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, occupied tho chair. Prizes went to the Port Denison and Armagh, and came from Nelson. Special services were arranged for Peace Sunday.
