CHARGE AGAINST A POLICE CONSTABLE
ALLEGED USE OF INDECENT LANGUAGE. By Tcleerauli—Press Association. Auckland, July 3. ' An unusual case was commenced in the Police Court to-day, when an allegation was made against a lxilico constable that lie used indecent language in a publicplace during the arrest of a drunken man. The prosecution was a private one, brought by a member of the Waterside Workers' Union. Many witnesses wore called, and before adjourning the cast) for the day the- Magistrate said he was extremely dissatisfied with the conduct of the prosecution, and there we.ro reasous why the hearing of evidence should not be 'delayed. The caso was adjourned till to-morrow.
