NOTORIOUS SPY EXPELLED FROM BRITAIN
IGNATIUS TBIBICfI LINCOLN. London, July 2. Ignatius Tribich T. Lincoln, a former member of Parliament, :md notorious spy, has 'been deported to Hungary.— Aus.-N.Z. Gable Assn. [Lincoln waa a native of Pake, Hungary. In 1910 ho was '.'iected to Parliaruont for Darlington, but returned tho same year. Hβ acted as a spy for tho Germans and endeavoured to obtain naval information. Fearing that he was he fled to the- United States, whoro ho published certain articles, "revealing" what he had done, and stating thnt he had tried to "get even" with Greet Britain because of _ its persecution of aliens. He was extradited to England after a sensational tscapo from custody in the United States, early, in 1916, and was put upon his trial, and imprisoned. He appears to havo been u rascal in many ways, nnd charges of forgery were preferred against him 1
