NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. By Tflleerauh—TTphs A»nr>.inHhn Christchurch, July 2. At a meeting of the board of the New Zealand Trotting Association registration was granted to Te Awannitu' and Otago Central Clubs.
It was decided to call on G. Craw and B.- Garden for an explanation of a breach of (ho rules rognrding Ihn registration of a joint interest in the filly Mario Tempest.
It was agreed to inform Mrs. Bowley, who wrote in reference to a lease of the mare Winiata, that the matter of the dispute between her, T. Ritchie, and .T. Wright was one,for the civil.cou'rts to decide.
The secretary of the Southland Racing Club wrote, stating'that'he had been requested by an Invercargill trainer to ask if the rule provided for a trainer who was unable to collect' training fees from an. owner to place the latter on tho unpaid forfeit list for the amount of _ tho fees and out-of-pocket expenses paid by tho trainer in taking a horse to race meetings. It was decided that the claim was one for civil action.
