• & MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Tho weekly meeting of tho Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association was held last night. There were, present:—Messrs. W. Auld (in tho chair), H. Youman,' H. Spolsky, E-. Hendry, L. .White; 11. L. Godber, C. Webster, A. E. Wells, and A. Williams (hon. secretary). ';' The Railway Department .advised that owing to the coal shortage- tho 2.15 p.m. train to Lower Hutt on Saturday will not run.

A complaint was received from the South Wellington Club .regarding the re&reeing in tho Porirua-South Wellington fourth grade match ■ played at Porirua last Saturday. It decided to ask the referee to report on the match.'

An Institute player (against whom a complaint had been received for .misconduct), the Institute fourth grade vicecaptain and tho Thorndon representative attended to give versions of the misconduct alleged to have taken placo in'tho Institu'te-Thorndon match, played a fortnight ago. The player in question was reprimanded. * Tho Brooklyn United-Club' applied to withdraw their fourth B team from the competition, and the ' application was granted. . Marist (Thorndon) wore granted permission'to play Martinborougb, on or about, Augustl. The chairman and Mr, Wells wero appointed' as <;, deputation to wait, on tho Tramway,.
