THE VOLUNTARY MOTOR CORPS
Sir,—l do uot think the splendid work that has been dona by the bund of men and women of the Volun- ■ tarv Motor Corps who go down to meet boats or trains when our boys aro coining: homo ia generally known by the public of Wellington. Early and late they turn out, and often wait for hours, and when you know that it is their own motors and benzine they aro using, you can appreciate and understand what this means to them, besides the time that they, many of them business men, give. They are really deserving of some recognition. There are a number, including many women, who never miss any of the boats, and are ever anxious to do their part to help our men. Surely they are worthy of a medal, or some recognition when there are so many others who have received recognition" and not done half as much as these people. Hoping that the public will take this up—l am, etc., OXI3 WHO APPRECIATES.
