9 TROUBLE WITH THE COTTON SPINNERS. (Rec. July 2, 10.50 p.m.) London, July 1. The cotton spinners in Lancashire hnvfc rojected the leaders' decision to accept a settlement of tho strike. Riots by "the strikers, in which hundreds of women and girls participated, compelled many other mills to close. The employers have decided to close all the mills on Wednesday, pending a settlement,—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assu.
