THE MONEY MARKET. The Hank of England discount rate is 5 per cent, at which- it lias stood since April 6, 1917. SlKi't loans are quoted at 31 per cent., and fthree moiiUm' bill# «», 3J per cent. ' CUSTOMS RETURNS. ' Customs revenue collected at the port of Wellington yesterday amounted to J 7324 9s. lOd. The Hon. Arthur Myers, Minister of Customs, informs us that the amount of Customs revenue collected throughout the Dominion for tho month of June wan £282,632, and tile excise beer duty £23,262. Tho figures for the month of June, 1918, were £233,362 and £19,375 respectively. It will be observed that there is an .increase'in the Customs rovenue of £49,270, and in tile beer duty of £3887.
