TROOPS BY PRINZESSIN.' Tiie steamer Prinzessin, with a draft of 101 officers aud men, arrived in the harbour at 1:30 p.m. yesterday. Heavy weather accounted for the late arrival of the vessel, which left London on May IS. The journey to New Zealand was made via the Panama Canal, and occupied forty-five days. There was no siclcness on the voyage. Lieutenant-Colonel F. K. Turnbull, D.5.0., M.C., was in charge of the draft. As the vessel ' was declared :to be "clean" from a medical point of view, she berthed at the Glasgow. Wharf about 4 o'clock, and the disembarkation was umied out under the supervision .of Captain F. Prictor, Military Landing Officer, within tho very smart period of twenty minutes. Two gangways were employed for the purpose, and tho whole of tho arrangements were completed without a hitch of 'any kind. Tho Mayor (Mr. 1 J; "I*. Luke) extended a cordial wolconie home to the troops, to whom fruit and cigarettes were distributed by a ( comniitteo of ladies.' The Patriotic Society's Band was in attendance, and enlivened tho proceedings with appropriate selections. As on former Yccasions. tho Voluntary Motor Corps rendered excellent and expeditious service in transporting the Wellington men and their next-of. kin to their homes. ' . , i -.
