INFLUENZA IN SYDNEY
TELEGRAPH STAFFS DISORGANISED (Rec. June 30, 1.50 a.m.) Sydney, June 29. Owing to the depletion of the telegraphic staffs Press messages within the Commonwealth have been ordered to be reduced by one-third. A further curtailment of the telegraphic services is probable. The weather is bitterly cold, and influenza is increasingly rampant. Numbers of deaths both in the city and country are reported. The reports from the other States continue to be highly favourable.—Press Assn.
