, Miscellaneous. ' Applications were received from Messrs. W. 11. Tuck and J. G. Brechin for a license to graze an area of about 90 acres of open Crown land in Manawatu River bed. Makuri .S.D.—lt was resolved to invite tenders for a license (o occupy this land for a term of live years under section 130 of the Land Act, 1808, subject to'usual conditions, and to keeping down noxious weeds.
A report was received from the ranger on P.E.B. 29,* Kareiyarewn. V.S., 1 rood.— It was resolved to offer .lease by public auction under the Education Reserve Act and amendments for a period of 21 years, with right of renewal' for further! periods of twenty-one years.
. A report was received from the ranger oil sections 25, 20, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, and 5. Karewarewa V.S., 2 acres 14 perches.— It was resolved to offer the sections grouped as one lot for cash "by public auction at ail upset price of .£33. The question of reoffering Sections 24 and 25, Block XVI, Manganui S.D., 28 acres and 38 acres 1 rood 32 perches, was considered.—lt ivas resolved to reoffer them under Part 111 of tho Land Act, 1308. at original capital, values of .£l4O and ,6195 respectively. - An application was received from Mr. ■T. E. Crowe for a temporary permit to grazo about 2000 acres of open land in Block VIII, Jlanganui S.D.—lt was resolved to grant a permit to occupy for one year at a rental of .£SO per annum. A report was received from tho ranger on Section 121, Ifnnunui V.S., 4 acre 3-2 roods.—lt was resolved to grant Ml'. R. Early a permit to occupy it from year to year tinder section 130 of the Lnnd Act. 1908, at a rent of -E2 per annum, subject to the usual conditions.
