THE WAIWEEA. Tho steamer Waiwera, laden with general merchandise from New York, arrived at Lyttelton en Tuesday. She was berthed, but owing to wet'weather the work of discharging her cargo was not commenced. The Lyttelton portion of her cargo comprises 2300 tons ot Mirioua commodities.

The vessel is under the command of Captain Gordon, who tool: command of her at Oardilf, where she called to take water ballast prior to proceeding to New York to load. This is Captain- Gordon's first voyage on the Waiwera. He was previously master of the Waiihana. The Waiwera left New York on May. 16, and came to Lyttelton direct, via Paiiariia Canal. The ■ AVaiwora, was engaged during the war in conveying frozen meat from Eiver Place to franco. The vessel, after completing her discharge, at Lyttelton,; will sail for Duaodin and Bluif, thence to Melbourne, to complete her unloadings. She should be ready for dispatch from Lyttelton in the course of a week.

. ' THE WAITOMO. : The Union Company's Indian trader Waltomo arrived at Auckland from Calcutta and Java on Tuesday, to discharge the Auckland portion of her cargo. Sne left, Auckland on February 12 for Sydney and Newcastle. At the latter port Bho loaded coal for Java and sugar for Caicutta. At Oalcutta she loaded general cargo for New Zealand,- and on the way here she called at various Javan ports. She completed loading, and left Sainarang oh June 3. The voyage was uneventful, and flue weather was experienced until hearing the New Zealand coast. The cargo la all for New Zealand, and consists <f about 6000 tons. About 1900 tons are for 'Auckland, and the balance for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Duuedin. Ibo Waitomo is expected to arrive here on Sunday. MANUKA FOE,'SYDNEY. The Union Company announced last night that it was hoped to get tho Manuka away from Auckland for Sydney at noon to-morrow. ■THE TOFUA. The Tofua signed oh foreign articles on Monday, and. will proceed to Dunedin today to load - general cargo for northern ports and' San Fraucißco. The Australian steamer Omana completed loading a, part cargo of timber at Auckland on Tuesday, and sailed for Opua, Whangaroa and Kaipara the same night to complete loading a timber cargo for Sydney.

Tho steamer Glaucus finished loading at Bluff oil Saturday, and sailed for Melbourne on Sunday morning with 730,000 ft. of beech limber.
