WEEKLY MEETING,
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held last evening, Mr. W. Anld presiding. also present Messrs. . Hondry, Spolski, Duncan, Wells, White, Godbcr, Ferguson, Yeoman, and Williams (hon. secretary . Some discussion took place over the nucstion of-a protest by the Thornton [fourth division) Club against Institute for slaying a lad over age. It was decide? to hold over the matter until the Thornton Club could produce a birth Ce in connection with the protest of the Y M C A. Club against the Manst Club objecting to ft player under age it was decided to caution toe ttaiwt Club for permitting .an unregistered playei to 'communication was received from the New Zealand Football Association stating fhat'H.M.S. New Zealand would arrive in Wellington during August, and it was desired that matches be arranged. It was decided to consider the matter at ii Inter date. ' .. The meeting, decided to grant the renuest of the Diamonds iourth B team for a bye on July 5, in view of then , players "being required for an examination on that date. In connection with the application of the Marist Club for the senior and junior fixtures against Petono and Johnsonville respectively to be played in town, it was decided to leave the matter m the hands of tho Fixtures Committee. It was decided to call for nominations of bovs in the fourth division willing to travel to Auckland for a representative match during July.
