"DISASTROUS WASTE"

IMMENSE STOCKS OP WAR STORES BURNED. fParis, Juno 15. ' Immense quantities of American war stores at Prunier Camp, near,Rainartiri, including motor-cars, bicycles, and wagons, are being destroyed, because the French Government has prohibited the salo of tlie goode. Most of the articles could, with smalll repairs,- have been utilised in Franco, but tho cast of their retransportation to America made their destruction- preferable. The newspapers comment on this disastrous waste of useful material, and criticise the reprehensiblo action of the Government.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Asm.
