ELDERLY MAN FOUND DEAD. Bγ Teleeraßß—Prtra Association. ■■ , ', ' Gisborne," June 25. The have received word that i furni;employee named Harry' Breedon, eighty years' of'age;' 1 was found dead in his whare at-Whangara. ■ : ■- COLLISION ON ' ITUTT ■ ROAD." ' A collision between a motorcar and n trap' occurred on the Hntt Road about 5.40 o'clock yesterday evening. Mr, Oliver Martin Gardner, of the municipal abattoirs staff, was in charge of tho trap,', the driver of the motor-car being Mr. Harold Brown, of Wellington. Mr. Gardner states that lie was proceeding towards Kaiwiirra, and that he was struck by the motor-car, which was coininc behind him, The trap was capsized, ami Mr. Gardner was thrown out, but, fortunately, siid'ered no eerious injury. As fioon as the collision took placo Mr. Gardner's horse bolted and the trap was smashed. ■ s MISHAP TO MOTOR-CAR.' About twenty minutes to 8 last night a taxi-cab in charge of a man named John Storrie was being driven. towards ■ the Ferry Wharf when it collided with a railway truck which was standing outside. the Customhouse. The truck wns loaded with' bricks, and ihe impact was it-very sharp one. Considerable damage was done to the taxicab, the chassis being twisted and the class-screen being broken. The driver received an injury to his right hand which necessitated medical treatment. No injury was sustained by any other persons.
