SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

The efforts of the performers at the Sailors' JVierid Society on Tuesday were awarded with much applause. Mrs P. Morgan was the hostess. She was assisted by the Misses Mnv Dimock, Jessie Lewis, Peggy 'Jones, May ' Lewis, and Messrs. T. Eγ Jones, P. A. Campbell, and Springnll. Miss May Lewis was at the piano. "Loose Hopes" was Mr. Mooro's subject, and at the close several men ed the pledge. The society's thanks uro tendered to recent donors of gifts, and f'or v those nt Inst night's competitions, The vote of thanks was very hearty.
