The addition of Baron Makino foreshadows Japanese participation in any action against Germany in the event of her rofusal to sign—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. STILL HAGGLING (Rec. June 21, 1.20 a.m.) London, June 22. The German National -Assembly has agreed to sign by a majority of 29. The Allies have received a German Note offering to sign conditional on their not being held responsible for the war and not delivering the guilty persons. The Allies insist on an unconditional surrender, otheTVise the armies will advance.—Renter. '\ THE PEACE SIGNATORIES BRITAIN'S REPRESENTATIVES. (Rec. Juno 21, 1.5 a.m.) Paris, June 22. Mr. Lloyd George, Mr. Balfour, .Mr. Bonar Law, Lord Miiner, and Mr. Barnes will sign the Peace Treaty on behalf of Britain. Mr. Hughes, Sir Joseph Cook, and Mr. Massoy (for Australasia) have been requested to provide family seals. Everything is in roadiness at Versailles.— United Service.
