THE CLASSIFICATION AND THB AVAR BONUS. By Association f Thames, June 21. - 4 large meeting of tho Thames section of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association las , ; night passed the following motion:—"That this meeting deplores tho fact Hint a serious attempt appears to have lwen made to classify experienced qualified officers below the fifth class. Many responsible positions in the sixth class have nut been regarded in accordance with the value and responsibility of the work." It was decided to support the executive in asking for payment of the outstanding portion of the war bonus, due last year; also, failing amendment of the existing schedule, that a further V-ouu9 of 15 per cent, be paid on all salaries. Opinion was against a conference until the return of Sir Joseph AVaTd.
