The principal matters that I propose to lay before the conference for discussion, arc:

(a) The iniquities of our railway services. , , , (b) The inefficient ferry servico between LyHelton and Wellington. (c) Tho housing problem—its finance. (d) Shortage of coal—ite municipal con(e) Concreto roads and arterial highways. (f) Completion of main trunk lines. (g) Hydro-electric developments. (h) Uniformity of motor and oilier li'flflic by-laws. To this Mr. Luke has replied:
