AUSTRALIAN WINE IN EUROPE
A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY. London, June 18. An English company has boon formed to utilise tho present opportunity to introduce Australian wines into Northern Europe, and secure a hold en markets which were largely supplied from- Germany before the war. The first shipment now on passage to Christiania from Sydney has already been sold at an excellent price. ■ The controlling interest of the new company is held by groups of leading importers of Australian wines in' various parts of the Kingdom, who believe that the nationality and stability of the new organisation will be thus assured.
