PUKEMIRO MINERS MAY RESUME
OLD WOEKTNGS TO BE SCALED OFF. By Telegraph—Pre" Association Auckland, June 19. An examination of the old workings at the Pukemiro Colliery has been iuad« by the Chief Insnector of Collieries and representatives of the men. Noxious gas has been found to be present, aim it is recommended by Hie district inspector and the workmen's inspectors that the workings bo completely sealed off. tl.o miners held a meeting to-day, and it is expected they will resume work next week!
