EMPRESS THEATRE. To-night will seo the final screening at the Empress Theatre of the Triangle drama "Untamed," staring Hoy Stewart and Ethel Fleming. To-mowow a big attraction will be a World feature, entitled "Just Sylvia," with Barbara Castlofo'n and Johnny Hines in the principal roles. Tho storv deals with the experiences of a young girl in a big city, who has to tako work as a modiste's model. Later she appears as a bogus countess, and finally she is seen in her own real surprising identity. Tho second attraction will be "The Count," featuring Charlie Chaplin. Specially selected music will be played during the screening of tho star picture, and at tho interval two big selections will be played, viz. "Maritnna" and the grand selection "Olivette." Supporting items will include a Vitagraph comedy, "Tho Ilnuhled House." In addition, Mr. Melvin will sing "The Bells of _ St. Mary's," accompanied by the chillies and bells. The management state that this is one of the strongest bills screened at the Empress for some time. Seats may ho reserved 'by ringing telephono 3142. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "Hell's Hinges" will be finally screened at Everybody's Theatre to-night. "Lust of flie Ages'' will bo shown, commencing to-morrow, This is a seven-part drama by Lillian Walker, and shows how the lust of gold will wreck the lives of people whose god is the almighty dollar. KING'S THEATRE. the special attraction at tho King's Theatre, is to be screened for the last time to-night. Tho magnitude of many of the scenes in this picture, especially thoso dealing with tho Roman period, rival "Intolerance," and will be long remembered by those who see them. Tho King's Orchestra renders some very fine incidental music during the picture sheening, and the singing of Miss Elsie [Cell (soprano) is a most enjoyable item of the programme. Tho management of tho King's Theatre have secured a season of Siguor L. Ccsaroni, the eminent operatic basso, who will appear in conjunction with the new programme; commencing to-morrow afternoon. Alice Brady in "Her Great Chance" heods tho now pictorial series. THE DANDIES. The Dandies have just concluded their twenty-sixth week in New Zealand, which is the longest tour on record in the Dominion of any Dandies company, and during tnis period, with the exception of the West Coast towns of the South Island, the company has confined its attention to the North Island. For the Wellington season, which commences on July 18, Mr. John Hopkins has arranged with the Kennedy Company to appear in conjunction with the Dandies at the Concort Chamber. The Kennedy Company ho:} just completed a tour of thirteen weeks In 'the South Island, where excellent business resulted, and tho combination of tho Dandies and Kennedys will no doubt be welcomed in Wellington.
