The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington V-6ot-bali Association was presided "over, />y Mr. W. Auld. 'The following were oiso S resent:—H. Spolsky, C. Webster, AV. uincan. H. L. Godbar, L. White, H.' Yeoman, R. Hendry, and A. Wilimns. A special general meeting was held prior to tiie ordinary meeting to appoint a member to the Management Committee in place of Mr. C. F. Ward, who l.as resigned, he having decided to play again. Mr. A. E. Wells was elected to the position: Kiirori entered a Bteam for the Seroud Division. Brooklyn Club also entered a team for the Second Division, several transfers from the club's senior team to the Second Division eleven being agreed to. A letter was received from the Army Medical Corps at Trentham asking to be allowed to enter a team in the junior championship for. the second round. The application was granted, half the usual entry fee being charged. This team will be known as the N.Z.A.M.C. eleven. The request oC the Johnsouvtile School for a ball was granted. The Northland School entered a tean> for the schools competition. The transfer of 'three Thistle players to Knrori was granted. The transfer of n I'etone pluyer to (he Empire Ciub was also agreed to. . A telegram was received from tho Auckland Association asking for a natch to be played here on Wednesday rext, on the team's, way down to meet Canterbury ou June 28. After some discussion it was decided to inform the,, northern association that the time was too short to arrange a representative match. Tho lion, secretary of the Auckland Boys' Sub-Committee wrote asking if if was poss ; ble to send a representative Fourth Division team to Aucklaud tu play a game on or about July '9 The letter was referred to the local Hoys Sub-Committee, iuid it was aiso decided to question the Auckland Committee as to expenses. The Thorndou Fourth Division tftaift protested against an Institute player being over age. The boy was born overseas and a certificate from the headntasier of the Thorndon, School showed tho lad to be over age, but a cerhncate from the boy's mother showed Mm to be under age. The.matter was held over till next week for the boys last year's registration form to be produced. The application of a Mavisfc Fourth Dinion player to be transferred to Institute was not granted, the Maiist Club opposing the transfer. The Y.M.C.A. Fifth Division team i rotested against Marist for playing a boy over age. The player in question 's r.ot registered. ' It was decided to refer the correspondence back to the Boys' Subcommittee. ' Complaint; was made by the referee of the 'i'horndon-Institute Fourth Grade match of the conduct, of iv plnyer of the latter team. The matter was hold over, the player, referee, and two ciptains to bo asked to attend at next weeks meeting. ' v . . An Institute Fourth Division player attended to explain regarding his playing against Wndestown, whilst being over age.
