BRITISH GOVERNMENT UNEASY. London, June 17. Mr. C.-A. M'Curdy, Secretary for the Ministry of Food, announces that owing to the expectation of a further rise in food pri.;is next winter, tho Government is considering the resumption of national or inter-Alljed purchases of essential foodstuffs to stabilise prices and abolish speculative buyers. The rapid multiplication of truete to maintain high prices is.proceeding at an alarming rate.
