LABOUR REPRESENTATION
The United Storemen'a Union has decided to nominnto tho following Parliamentary Labour, candidates for tho ballot to bo taken by tho Labour Representation Committee:— Wellington North, Mr. J. Reed;' Wellington South,-Mi , . R. Sernple; Wellington" Central, Mr.' P. leaser; Wellington East Mr A. L. Monteith; Wellington Suburbs, Mr. A. AV. Croskery. Thr Plumbers' Union is giving its support i.o these nominee?, while tho Lyall Nay branch of the Labour Party suggests the substitution of Mr. C. Ft. Chapman for Mr. Monteith.
Private James M'Kenzie, who is well known in the Labour movemont in Wellington, is returning from the front liy tho transport Prinzesfin, and the Trade* Council has decided, subject to his consent, to submit his name to the Laboui Eopresantatioii Committee for selection as a candidate for election to Pwlia meat.
