SHEARERS' QUARTERS
Sir,—l quito agree with the letter of "Fiat Justitia, I?uat Coelum," re shearers' quarters. One tries to make their quarter-; as clean and sanitary as possible. What is' the result? At the end of the shearing, when the hands aro gone, it would be an eye-opener for a few of the inspectors to come and look at the way the living rooms are left.* Old trousers, socks, bottles, books, newspapers,- besides mud and dust scattered all over the place. No one thinks it his duty to even give the plftce a rough sweep. And. of course, who is to bo the one to finally clean it is always a nroblem. The permanent hands do not believe in cleaning up the mess loft by other men. Generally, someone from (he house has to undertake the work. So, when men grumble about this, lot them rememlKir to leave things at least a little as they fiud them, and give employers encouragement to do their part. —I am, etc., ONE WHO HAS SEEN.
