There is, however, little business being done with' growers, who .arc stillJiolding liniilv. There is a considerable quantity of chaff now coming on the market. The continued tine weather is shortening the winter, and fariiters are no'.v inclined to some of their holding wliita the price is good, as they consider they will not now require .so much chaff lor their own stock. The price is still ;CG 10s. to j;G 15s. at country stations. There has been good inquiry lor cocksfoot and red clover, and white is now again in better demand. The potato market is quiet, there- being few orders now coming in, and at (he same lime growers are not very ready sellers, as it is believed the bulk of the crop has now beeu dealt with.
