AMONG THE JUGO-SLAVS
Sir,—The object of such' j.'jblicity being given to .tho views expressed under this heading .on June 12 is not.clear, bkt; lest it be taken to reflect a little lustre to the-reputation of Jugo-Slavs in New Zealand, please permit mo to point out that the "Morning Post" correspondent has been much misled. On April 3 ho wrote that "everybody with whom lie 'spoke told him as a .simply indisputable fact that all Croats desire the union of the Serb-speaking Slavs." That is pretty positively said, but on May 20 a cable message informed us "there had been' street fighting at Agram between C'roatians and Serbians, many being killed." Agram is precisely tho Zagreb where the "Post's" correspondent spoke io his "everbody." It appears to have been the wrong everybody.—l am, etc., BLACK WATCH.
