PUKEMIRO MINE DISPUTE
* —. —. COMPANY'S PROPOSALS REJECTED. By Telegraph-Press Association, Auckland, June 13, The "Herald's" Huntly correspondent telegraphs that, a mass meeting of miners was held at Pukomiro to-day, when Iho company's proposals were rejected. The opinion was exprossc'l that in view of the projected working of a State mine in the vk-inily, the Government should take over and work tho .Pukemirp mine. There are indications that further negotiations are useless, and that the dispute will go into the hands of the Federation of Labour. The Conciliation Commissioner is still at Huntly.' ■
