Since- the price of-oats went up to 4s. per bushel and 'over the offerings have been a little hiore free, and continued fine weather means a shorter winter and lessened doniand probably,, for feed on the farms.; There" has'-been no actual change in prices since last report, A grade Cartons being worth -Is. 2d. to 'is. 3d. per bushel, and B grade 3s. IM. to 45., Algerians 3s. lfld. to 45., and Duns 4s. to 4s. 2d. There is a good deal more oatsheaf chaff offering, parcels of 50 to 100 tons now .being available. The general run .of prices is £6 Vis. Aα £6 15s. p ß er ton at country stations. The potato market is quiet, there being lessened . inquiry, .and at the same time there are' fewer .offering.. They are now quoted at £b ■ 15s. to jE6 per ton at'country etations, though some buyers would not give more than. £5 10s.
