Wellington, in common vrit.li otlwr districts except the West Coast and southern areas, Is enjoying a spell °f delightful weather, and according to present indications there is' every pros-poct of its continuance, for a <iay or two at least, taking the official forecast of the Jleteorological Denartment as a guide and making due allowance for human error. Pro. sent indications are for Moderate to stroii-? south-west winds, veering to increasing r.orthcrliw, especially in and southward of Cook Strait, with milder and fair to cloudy weather Generally. Rain is probable on the West Coast and in the southern districts. The barometer is unsteady, and is expected to fall 600 a in tho south.
