Id. a bale; hens, h. 2d. to 4s. Bd. sach. The Wairarapa Farmora' Co-operative Association, Ltd., Pahiatun, report on their undermentioned sales, as follow;—At Woodvillo on Monday, a fairly good entry of sheep for the time of the year came forward, also a fair yarding of cattle. The demand for sheep was good, all lines offered being disposed of under tho hammer at prices showing a substantial increase on last- sale's report. Wo report the following sales:—33 fat owes and wethers, 30s. 5d.; 10 fat two-tooths, 265. 3d,; 70 ni.s. two-tooths, 25e. 2d.; 30 good shorn lambs, 16s. lid.; 4?' wether do, 15s. 6d.; 104- medium lambs, Bs. 6rt. to Bs. lod. Cattle: 6 fat cows; £6 17s. 6d., £5 2s. 6d„ to £8; 14 store cows, £2105., £3, to £5; 2 dairy cows, £10 2s. 6t1.; ] springing heifer, £10; 13 wcaners,' 225. 6d. to £3 10s.; 1 heifer, in calf, £8 15s. At Pahiatua on Tuobday there was a good entry of Bhecp and a small yarding of cattie. The demaind for sheep throughout was good, i radically all liues changing hands under the hammer \at good prices. The following sales were made:—22 fat ewes and wethers, 31s. to 325, 6d.; 33 forward ewes, 255.; 156 f.m. empty ewes, 18s. 4d.; 90 do., 14s. 7d.;54 aged do., 9s. 9d.; 24 do., 9s. 2d.; 40 do., 7s. 7d.; 40 two-tooth wethers, 175.; 104 m.s. woolly lambs (good), 19s. 6d.; 45 shorn do., 17s. 5d.; 41 Tat b.f. do.. 17s. 6d.; 194 small lambs. 25., 45., to 6s. Cattle: 5 'dairy heifers, in calf, £6 17s. 6d.; l >priuging heifer, £12 55.; 1 good dairy cow, £12 10s.; 1 ompty cow, £6 55.; 1 bullock, £10 55.; 1 steer, £4 ss. Messrs. Abraham a,n.d -Williams, Ltd., report on their Marlon sale, held on Wednesday:—A good yarding of sheep camo forward and met with a very ready sale. ;A small entry of cattlo sold at late rates. Empty ewes, 16s. 2d., 17s. lCd.; cull do., Bs.; | ln.s. two-tooths, 235. Id.; two-tooth wethers, 295. 7d., 295. Sd.; two-tooth owes, in lamb, 255.; aged do., 10s., 175.; best lambs, 17s. 7d., 18b. Id., 19s. 6d.; medium do., 12s„ 145.; cull do., 65., 9s. 3d.; fat ew.es, 245. 6d., 265.; fat cows, £10 55., £10 155.; empty cows, £4 55.; cows in calf, £6 ss. Messrs. Dalgety and Company report having held' their Levin sale on June 10, when they offered a special entry of sheep, cattle, and sundries on account of the ■ trustees of the lato J. 1!. M'Donald, also .usual entries on account of other clients. Tho attendance was good, aud the tone of tho sale all through vvaa much brighter than has been the case during the ; past few months. T-he cattle offered on account of tho M'Donald Estato camo forward in excellent order and "condition, and lteen competition took place for the grown steers. A line 0f.65 four-year-old bullocks made the satisfactory figure of £14 12s. 6d., and a line of 58 three-year-old bullocks brought £11. Other sales wore as uuder:—Sheepfl'orwarfi wethers and miieu ewes,' 275. 7d. to 285.; medium woolly hoggets, 13s. 2d. to, 13s. 6d.; small woolly hoggets; 10s. 6d. tfi lis.; forward empty ewes, 17s. to 18s.' 9d.; small two-tooth, wethers, 19s. 3d.; forward four-tooth wethors, 28«.
