Ayros, lias gone to liisbonie, and will he on Mullive in his engagements there. Ju Jitsu, who is now trained by IT. Hickey at tiiebornp., is to be a runner in'the Park Hurdles to-day, and is expected to make a good showing. After his good showing in first-class company at Wunganui, Merry Jack may be favourite- ill , the Gisborne Steeplechase to-day.■ ■ According to well authenticated reports Multum has been res|>onsible for eoino attractive work over the brush fences lit Napier, and as Jie will be meeting a lot of half-ready horses nt Gisborne he may he made a solid order. He is to be ridden by Raugi Thompson The Demosthenes gelding Orateur, who was formerly trained by li. Gooseman, and was a winner"' at the last Meeting, will be a runner in the Hack Handicap at-.pisborne to-day. Orateur stays on well, and; the distance being seven furlongs should suit him.
