BRICK WORKS EMPLOYEE KILLED: By TeleeraDh.—l'rcsa Association. Christchurch, .Tune 11. An accident this morning at the Elmore Brick and Tilo Company's works at Hillsbrough, near Christchurch, resulted in the death of an employee named John Honniwcll. Deceased was feedins clay into tho mixer when he slipped, and a foot was caught in tho machinery, resulting in j»he leg being badly mangled, lie died shortly after being released from tho machine. RAILWAY WORKER FATALLY' ■ INJURED. Whangaroi, June 11. A fatal accident happened on the railwav extension works near Waiotera yes- , lenlay. It is reported that the steam navvy slipped on a boulder, which fell on Joseph Garwood, a widower, with two children.. inflicting injuries from which lie expired soon afterwards.
FATAL FALL FROM A TRAP. Palmerston North, June 11. David Sinclair, a labourer, aged 57, was thrown from a trap at Carnarvon yesterday, and died in Palmerston Hospital to-day.
