'.Reports from the cities where tho bomb explosions occurred slate that anarchist leaflets were found near tho scenes of the oiftrages, Eomts reading, "Long live the revolution! Down with tyranny!" Apparently one bystander woe killed outside the Attorney-General's (Sir. Palmer) house in Washington. The police believe that the victim may have been the boiubthiwer. 'In New York one bomb exploded in front of the homo of Mr. George Charles Nott The front of tho house was wrecked. Mr. Nott was not at home, but his wifo had a narrow escape, mid two of tho bystanders were killed. Wherever tho bombs exploded the buildings were seriously damaged. The most eovero explosion occurred in AVashington, The windows and doors of houses in the vicinity of Attorney-General Palmer's homo being smashed. The explosions in the- various cities occurred within lire hours. Two bombs exploded within a few minutes in Philadelphia. One wee directed against the Catholic Church, end tho other tijminst a private residence. fli Boston, Jud?e Albert Hnvilon's home was attacked. No members of the family were at home. Judge Havdou Juul recently sentenced alleged Bolshevists to terms of imprisonment— Aus.-N.Z. Ca'ble Assu. •
