STRANDED NEW ZEALANDERS
PROTEST MEETING IN SYDNEY. (Rcc. June 11, 10.20 p.m.) Sydney, June 11. A stormy meeting of stranded New flenhindcrs vis lipid in the Town Hull. The meeting vigorously protested against diverting tiie Manuka to Auckland with Niagara passengers. One section advocated direct action to the oxtenlj of pulling tlio crew out, but moflerato' counsels prevailed, and it was decided to cable the New Zealand Government resenting tho Union Company's action and the Government's approval, and also insisting that the Manuka shall carry the full complement of New Zenlanders.—Press Assn.
