MILD WINTER WEATHER
Yesterday—within a, week, practically, of the shortest day—was like Indian summer in Wellington—variable breezes, blus skies, and genial sunlight. The question is, how long will it last? The Meteorological Department states that present indications are for strong southeast winds, squally and changeable weather, with scattered showers, and a temporary rise in the barometer.
