SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
An exceptionally fine concert was given bv the Misses Al. and JJ. Clarke at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. The performers were- the Misses Naya, Wilson, 11. Clarke, Mackin, Snell, J. Lewis, D. Clarke. Mackin, and Messrs. Ziuite Wood, Martin, Peek, Miss Mackin' was at the piano. "Insured" was Mr. Mooro's temperance topic, and apain pledges were adileil to tlie society's Look.-!. Buttonholes were presented to the men. The competition was- good in every way. The vote of thanks was very hearty.
