London, June 10.•• Sir Alexander Godley's farewell order to the New' Zealand troops states:— Yoii leave behind a reputation for discipline and fighting qualities, of steadiness, resource, initiative, hard work, and gentlemanly conduct of which both you and New Zealand have every; reason to bo proud." General Godley especially thanks Generals Russell, Chaytor, and Richardson for their loyal co-operation- and great capacity in leadership.' He acknowledges the debt the force owes to Sir James Allen and General Robin, and other authorities in New Zealand.
