Correspondence was, received from tho Taita Sohool Committeo intimatinj iw intention of joining tlio association and notifying tho appointment of Messrs, Burgess and M'Arthur as delegates. Ih« Director of 1 Reserves wroto staling that ho would ho pleased to give an aadrort on tho question of beautifying school grounds. It was decided to invito Dr. A. Paterson to address tho association.. Tho following nominations were icceiveil for delegates to tho annual meeting of School Committees' Associations of M* Zealand Messrs. Wallace, Colley, Bras.-ton-Rule, Patterson, Bailey and Mi*, w„o W Wallace, Breiiton. Rule, and Bailey were elected. It was resolved that Messrs. I'orsyth, Sham, and Clarice be invited to attend all meetings of the association. Now delegate* wero received from the to A.ro Sohool Coniinitteo—Messrs! L. Hennessey tnd Griffiths. A lengthy, discussion took placo on tho remits lo bo considered at. tho forthcoming: Conferonco of School Committees' Association, to be held during- the session of Parliament.
