FATAL MOTOR COLLISION. By Telcei-anli—Press Association. Christchurch, June 9. An inquest was hold to-day by Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, Coroner, into tho'death of Samuel Donald Brabble, aged 20, who died at tho hospital 1 yesterday from injurifis received through colliding with a motor-car driven by Mrs. Amy Moreno Iladficld, on Friday evening. Tho ovldenco disclosed thatj tho deceased, who was riding a .motor cycle, approached tho streetJntcfsection at the samo tim« as Mrs. Hadficld. ■ Tho latter swerved her car to avoid a collision, but without success, dcccased hitting it and striking a telegraph pole. Tho cause of death was haemorrhage and laceration of thi brain, caused by fracture of the skull. A verdict was returned to that clfcct, mid that tho ovideneo did not discloso iiegligciico on tho part of cither the deceased, or Mrs. ITadfield.
DECAPITATED BODY KOUND. Opotiki, ,Tuno 9. Tito iload body of John Clark, jeweller. was found in ii back room of his promises, Rostgard's Building?, this morning, with tlio head blown off. Indications point to suicide, Ihero being cvidonco that a, high explosive was used.
