NATIONALISATION OF COAL MINES
FAVOURED BY TRADES AND I LABOUR COUNCIL. By Telegraph—Press Aosoolatloa. Cbristchurcb, Juno 9. The Canterbury Trades and Labour Council passed a resolution calling upon the Government, to nationaliso tho coal mines of tho Dominion, and that the minora be given an equitable proportion of representation in the control of tho mines. It was also unanimously decided to ondorso the intention of the national executive not to take any part in the peace colebrations.
